This spring, students will return their school-issued device, along with its case, charging block, and cord. Please bring these items to us on Monday, June 2. A school-issued device will be made available to your student in the fall

Students at Fernbrook Elementary School and Osseo Middle School recently competed in the state-wide Math Masters competition. The Math Masters program challenges fourth, fifth and sixth grade students to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills in mathematics.

On the evening of April 24, staff and students at Osseo Middle School unveiled their completed Colors of Community mural, which reflects the shared history and vibrant spirit of the community. The mural, thanks to a grant from the District 279 Foundation, explored students' relationships with their surroundings through collaborative art and was spearheaded by art teacher Gretchen Abegglen, in partnership with Indian Education Specialist Jill Lindl and Artist in Residence Kevin Kluever. The mural, displayed in the hallway, will stay up for years to come.

The planning process is starting to take shape for the Crest View rebuild. Community members and staff are welcome to share their thoughts on the project at an upcoming meeting.

The Osseo Robotics program saw remarkable success this season, with three of their teams participating in the state tournament on Feb. 27-28. This achievement represented the culmination of significant hard work, dedication and technical skill by the students, who have spent countless hours designing, building and programming their robots.
