For 57 years, Osseo Area Schools current and former employees and community members have put on an annual variety show to raise money for scholarships to assist graduating students in their post-secondary plans. Some of the performers have been involved since the original show in 1967 and continue to come back year after year. This year, the performers invite the community to come and check out The Big Game at “Wastebasket Revue: LVII” at an upcoming show.
Sixth graders at Osseo Middle School recently had the opportunity to hear from Kare11 meteorologist Jamie Kagol. The students learned what it is like to be a meteorologist and heard from Kagol about a number of topics they are learning in class.
A partial solar eclipse is expected in the Twin Cities metro area from 1-3 p.m. on Monday, April 8. An uncommon midday darkness will be experienced during this time as the sun is blocked by the moon.

Osseo Area Schools will host a Spring Career Expo Tuesday, March 26, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Zanewood Community: A STEAM School.
Nearly 180 students from the district’s four middle schools came together on Jan. 10 for a day of shared music and performance.
